Catton Grove

Catton Grove in the north of Norwich is a residential urban area which is home to around 6,000 people.

Our Big Local vision is to make Catton Grove a better, brighter, more harmonious place to live, work and volunteer.

Local residents and volunteers have formed a partnership to oversee the delivery of Big Local in Catton Grove. We are responsible for creating the Big Local Plan, overseeing its delivery, collecting the evidence to show how projects are progressing and to make sure the money is being used in the best way possible to benefit the community.

Building upon our vision for the area our Big Local plan sets out how we are going to achieve this, what projects we will develop and the positive impact these projects will have on the community. Our plan has been developed to reflect the views, comments and ideas that we have received during our extensive consultation with the community. We have also used information gained from producing our community profile of the area.

Our Big Local plan covers the first 3 years of a 10 year project. Our plan is divided into two sections. In the first section we show how we have consulted with the community and how local residents have been involved in identifying community needs and selecting which projects will receive Big Local funding. In the second section we will go into more detail about the projects that will be developed and the positive impact this will have upon our community.
